The Sanyal lab applies mass spectrometry with complementary approaches in biochemistry, cell biology, immunology and virology to investigate two major aspects of (+)RNA virus pathogenesis: mechanisms underlying their assembly/secretion, and strategies they deploy to subvert host immunity.
